Shitastic!

To be Undone

A shitastic week begins with school and work associated with it.  I know somewhere out there in the universe, another soul is cursing Adobe with every fiber of their being.  I've made praise to the Software Gods, only to have my prayers unanswered, as Adobe Flash crashes for the 3rd time, since working on my final project.  So much work gone to waste.  Flash is like the bastard stepchild who acts out for attention.  The Dean's List includes:  Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.  Meanwhile, Flash is in serving time, on repeated DUI's and reckless driving offenses.  About 2 hours of work gone in a flash.(excuse the pun)  *sips tea*  In order to keep going I need to spam "ctrl+s", to not lose work.  It's the nightmares of my old iMac all over again.

The Awesome and the Horror that is gaming

I'm starting to show track marks on my arm from the amount of Guild Wars 2 Consumption this weekend.  Gaming should be used during leisure, not to be abused during work time.

Ex: Hopped on GW2 as an outlet and a means to kill shit when Adobe Flash crashes for the third time.  But instead of playing for an hour and going back to toiling away in Flash, I played until about 4 am.  What's even worse, I over slept my first class.

Much love to my instructor, who did not drop me from the class.

Enough bitching about Flash...

Communication

Let's bitch about something else.

There's a communications barrier, that keeps getting wider.  *chugs tea*  People, are using the internet more and more for vital communication.  I'm finding harder and harder to get shit done.(forgive my lack of elegance.  I predict more swearing in my blog as the semester progresses)  *stares at empty cup*
I find threatening your co-workers, comrades, and/or collaborators with your presence often inspires a better work ethic.  But more about that later.  Work is piling up, and deadlines are drawing ever closer.  We'll see how this turns out.

Wedding

Still working on wedding planning.  More information in the next blog post.  There will be a link for donations via PayPal added to this blog, for those of you who wish to help Justin and I pay for our wedding.
I'm going to work hard in making something to sell as well.
